Social Studies Education
Our undergraduate and graduate programs deepen students' comprehension of the social sciences and history, while highlighting how to teach global connections, constitutional history, historical thinking and the significance of diversity in the United States and worldwide. The College of Education teacher preparation programs in both elementary and secondary education made the "Best Value" colleges of education list in the state of Iowa, according to an announcement from the National Council on Teacher Quality.
