Course Description

In the student teaching seminar we will discuss topics relevant to your student teaching experience and teaching in general. The course’s major purpose is to serve as a source of support and ideas for dealing with classroom problems you may encounter. We will also share successful strategies and approaches to teaching social studies and effective classroom management. Finally, the course will serve as place to refine “interview” and ePortfolios. Below I have identified seminar goals and topics for discussion. However, the course topics and chronology will remain flexible.
