Course Description

This course is designed to provide you with meaningful and practical learning experiences that will prepare you to create effective science learning environments for secondary school age students and to construct a vision of yourself as a teacher of secondary science. In this course you will also have field experiences in elementary classrooms to understand the nature of elementary school learners and the science experiences they have had before they get to middle schools.
