Course Description

This course will introduce students to the field of second/foreign language acquisition and learning. This introduction includes theories and research in related disciplines such as linguistics, education, psychology, anthropology, and sociology. Students will gain an understanding of the fundamentals and a historical perspective on second language acquisition and methods used in teaching and learning second/foreign languages.
