Course Description

Students will develop effective skills in managing classroom behavior that maximizes student learning and cooperation.  They will explore research on management strategies and create their own management plans for their future classroom.  Topics for study and discussion will include: developing proactive management strategies, meeting the needs of diverse learners, creating a positive learning environment, understanding the importance of drug abuse prevention, and dealing with violence in the classroom.
