Course Description

Music is basic to the education of all people. Therefore, elementary educators must know how to design and implement meaningful and rewarding musical experiences for children. This course begins with an overview of the basic concepts of music, then provides information regarding the sequencing, scope, and content of music teaching and learning. Dual emphases include developing a more inclusive scope of study, and integrating music with other subjects.
