Recognition of Exceptional Graduate Students As the primary governing body of graduate students, the Graduate Student Senate
works hard to advocate for graduate students across campus. With this in mind,
GSS has established Graduate Student Recognition Week at the University of Iowa,
to be held annually in the week preceding the James F. Jakobsen Graduate
Conference. In cooperation with the campus wide Graduate Student Recognition Week the College of Education solicits recommendations from faculty and staff for graduate students who are exemplary to be recognized. Students are guests of honor at an open reception held this year on April 30, 2012 and will be featured on this web site the week of April 30, 2012 through May 4, 2012. 2012 Exceptional Graduate Students:
