- The University Counseling Service (UCS), located in 3223 Westlawn Building next to Student Health, offers free counseling for individuals and couples, as well as a variety of support groups. They serve University of Iowa students who would like some support in dealing with a wide array of concerns, such as poor study skills, test anxiety, difficult transitions, depression, relationship difficulties, eating disorders, bereavement, etc.
Telephone: (319) 335-7294 - Collaborative Writing Consultancy (CWC), located in N302E Lindquist Center, offers writing assistance to College of Education graduate student.
Telephone: (319)384-4346 - The University of Iowa Writing Center, located in 110 English-Philosophy Building, offers writing assistance to University of Iowa students at all levels of writing ability. They offer constructive feedback on your general approach to writing, to help in terms of grammar, flow, clarity, etc.
