Student Research & Travel Award (formerly the Audrey Qualls Travel Award)

The Graduate Student Research & Travel Award provides conference registration, travel, and loding support for students enrolled in the College of Education who present (or co-present) at professional meetings. Support for these awards comes from the Audrey Qualls Travel Fund, the Mary Bywater Cross and Robert Newman Fund, and the Edna Jones Johnson Memorial Fund.

Teacher Education Convocation

Twice each year, the College holds a special Teacher Education Convocation specifically for students who have completed their student-teaching semester and are qualified to apply for teacher certification.

The Office of Graduate Teaching Experience presents a three-part program (coursework, teaching experience, and a teaching portfolio) leading to a graduate teaching certificate.
