“Stacy Ervin will begin her summer hiatus from the Office of Teacher Education and Student Services on May 16 and will return to the office on Friday, August 22. During the summer, Stacy will again be serving as a track official at the Sprint Car Capitol of the World, Knoxville Raceway, in Knoxville, Iowa. Her duties there include providing live race-night results at www.knoxvilleraceway.com and writing results and feature stories for the track’s event programs, including the 48th Annual Knoxville Nationals, the biggest sprint-car race in the world held in August. She will also again serve as moderator at a Nationals forum hosted by the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. In addition, Stacy is the public-relations and marketing coordinator for the John Hall racing team from Marion, Iowa, and provides weekly updates at www.johnhallracing.com during the racing season.”
