Admissions

Graduate College: All applicants must satisfy the Graduate College requirements. These requirements include a formal admission statement, official transcripts from each undergraduate and graduate institution attended, and the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) General Test scores.

Foreign applicants whose first language is not English must take and pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) unless they have received a degree from an accredited college or university whose primary instructional language is English.

Social Foundations: We encourage applicants to apply by the following dates:

  • Fall semester-April 15 (March 1 for international students)
  • Spring semester-December 1 (October 1 for international students)
  • Summer session-April 15 (March 1 for international students)

Applications will still be accepted after these dates. There may, however, be adverse implications with respect to financial aid and graduate assistantships for those who apply after the dates listed above.
