Opportunities for Specialization Students have the option of pursuing a minor in Pediatric Psychology or specialization in Gifted and Talented. Any student can request to create a minor area of study, which involves special requirements. Students must submit a written proposal for the minor area; this proposal should indicate what courses will be taken and which faculty member will be responsible for writing the comprehensive examination within the minor area. The plan must be dated and signed by the student, the minor advisor, and the School Psychology program director. The faculty member may impose special requirements on the student as a prerequisite for involvement. Note that individual departments and programs may require the student to work under policies for nonmajors in an area. |
