This award is presented to an undergraduate or graduate student in the College of Education who will work at the Center for Disabilities and Development to evaluate and develop learning programs for students with mental disabilities, including Down Syndrome.
Daniel G. Loetscher Memorial Science Education Scholarship
This award is presented to an undergraduate student in secondary science education.
Guy and Gladys Peterson Award
This award is presented to an undergraduate student in the College of education who has been admitted to and completed at least 12 s.h. of coursework in the teacher education program.
Betty Piercy Award
This award is presented to an outstanding student in reading who will benefit the field in some direct way.
Rolland Ray Dissertation Fellowship
This award is presented to a doctoral student with an approved prospectus in the data gathering and writing phases of the dissertation in the College of Education in the Department of Teaching and Learning whose dissertation deals with the measurement of educational objects in any one of four areas: science education, mathematics education, social studies education, or language and literacy education.
Lloyd Smith Scholarship
This award is presented to an outstanding student in the area of elementary social studies.
