ALBERT HOOD PROMISING SCHOLAR AWARD
This award honors Professor Albert Hood, who joined the UI
College of Education faculty in 1965. He is internationally
known in the area of college student development and is a
prolific publisher and presenter with more than 100 publications,
including four books. A fellow in three national psychological
associations, Professor Hood has directed more than 60 Ph.D.
dissertations and twice served as chair of the Division of
Counselor Education.
