Standards Syllabi

• Standards-based course syllabi

The Standards Syllabi address the performance standards the College of Education uses for evaluation and re-accreditation. These syllabi are less detailed than, and do not replace, the syllabi handed out in classes or appearing on course web sites.

• Linking ePortfolio™ to course syllabi

Template coursepages have a "dummy" link (that goes to a page with these instructions) which you need to replace so it opens the syllabus page for your course in the semester you take it.

To link to a standards syllabus:

1. Open the coursepage in Designer.
2. Right-click the link text (Course Syllabus) and select Edit Hyperlink.
3. In the Hyperlink window click the Browse icon (see illustration).
4. In the browser window that opens, go to the Syllabus Index page.
5. Select the appropriate semester from the "Select A Session" drop down menu.
6. Click the link to the appropriate course.
7. Go back to the Designer Hyperlink window.
8. Click OK.
