The College of Education maintains two portfolio web environments for students and alumni. Access to ePortfolio™ web sites (urls beginning eportfolio.education.uiowa.edu) is restricted to the web site's owner and authorized persons with the use of their HawkID login and password. Employment portfolio web sites (urls beginning employment.education.uiowa.edu) are open to the public. To set up an Empoyment portfolio for files you want to make public, go to the Employment portfolio information page. To open your ePortfolio™ web site you must enter the following information.
Make sure you use a backslash after iowa. If you see a box labeled "domain" leave it blank. If "iowa" is entered twice on the login screen the login will not work. The University requires users to change passwords at least every 180 days. If you have not changed your password in that time access to the system will be suspended. To change passwords, or if you have forgotten your HawkID, go to the ITS HawkID web page (hawkid.uiowa.edu/). You can also call the ITS HelpDesk at 319-384-4357. Tell them you need to reset your HawkID password. To avoid confusion, do NOT mention the ePortfolio™.
