
Customize your ePortfolio™ template pages
with SharePoint Designer
Template pages are generic. They change from semester to semester. You
need to add your own personal information, and may have to change assignments
on coursepages or the standards page.
To customize your index page:
- Open SharePoint Designer
- Start menu > All Programs > Microsoft
Office > SharePoint Designer
- Open your web folder as a Web Site
- File menu > Open Site
- Double-click to open your
USB drive
- Double-click to open the eportfolio folder
- Double-click to open the web folder
- Click Open.
- Open the index page
- Double-click index.htm in the Folder view column
- Highlight Name and replace with your name
- Highlight Major and Specialization
and replace with your information
- Add an email link
- Highlight the text "E-mail"
- Insert menu > Hyperlink >
Email link
- Enter
your email address. There can be no spaces in this link.
- Save the page
Use the same steps to customize other pages:
- Open the appropriate folder and page in the Folder
view column.
- Make the desired changes.
- Save thhe page.
