Download ePortfolio™ Folder Templates

When you connect to your web server space you will see three folders: employment, eportfolio, and templates. Templates has the required folders and basic pages for all program areas.

Downloading a template web folder to the same location on your personal disk as an existing web folder will replace any previous page with the same name. Be sure you want to do this.

Download templates with WS_FTP

1. Start menu > All Programs > WS_FTP > WS_FTP Pro
2. Close the “Connect to remote host” window if it opens.
3. Log into your ePortfolio account.
   • Address: ftps://eportfolio.education.uiowa.edu/yourHawkID/
   • User ID:yourHawkID
   • Password:your HawkID password
     

   The LOCAL SYSTEM panel on the left shows folders and files on your computer.
   The REMOTE SYSTEM panel on the right shows three folders in your server space: employment, eportfolio, and templates.

4. In the REMOTE panel (right) double-click the templates folder to open it.
5. Double-click the folder for your program area.
6. Click once on the “web” folder icon.

7. In the LOCAL panel (left) navigate to your USB drive.
8. Open your eportfolio folder.
9. Check to make sure the web folder is selected on the server (in the Right, Remote, window) click the left-arrow button.
10. In the dialog box asking if you want to transfer the files click Yes.
    The web folder will be copied to the eportfolio folder on your USB drive.
