Employment Information

Upon completion of the M.A. program in school counseling, students are eligible for school counselor licensure in Iowa and for employment as elementary or secondary school counselors in Iowa. The Career Center @ the TLC provides students with a variety of services from resume review to access to job databases. Students can also establish placement files, which the Office will mail directly to employers. Additional job openings will be posted on the School Counseling Program bulletin board as the School Counseling faculty receives them.
