Research Interests
  • Analysis of the effectiveness of counseling strategies and theories currently considered “best practice” with gifted students.
  • Empirical testing of the effectiveness of different theoretical orientations and techniques currently employed with gifted students.
  • Increase of the awareness of current counselors and counselors in training about gifted needs and teach and train future counselors to work with gifted students/families.
  • Examination of current clinical supervision of practicing professional school counselors.
