Scheduling the ITED Tests

For grades 9-12, the Complete Battery of nine tests requires 260 minutes of actual testing time. An additional 20 to 30 minutes is needed for various administrative details. Each school may work out its own testing schedule. It is strongly recommended, however, that the test be given in two or more sessions. These sessions might be planned for two or three consecutive days or spread out over a week or more. If all the tests are given on a single day, students are likely to be too fatigued to do their best on the later tests. As a guide, a two-session schedule, a three-session schedule, and a class-period schedule are included in the ITED Directions for Administration.
