Academic Credit One (1) semester hour of Academic credit, either undergraduate or graduate, from The University of Iowa is available for all TWO DAY classes, including the AT Summer Institute. Credit will be recorded in early August on a University of Iowa transcript as 07C:180 Topical Seminar in CRSD. Registration for academic credit for each 2 day workshop will take place on the morning of the first session. In Iowa City, the sessionwill be on Monday, June 29th from 8:00 - 4:00 p.m. in N300 at the Lindquist Center and in Council Bluffs on July 9th. Participants will be able to make changes in their credit registrations until 11:00 a.m. on the first day of class. You must have registered for the AT Summer Institute and have received confirmation of your attendance prior to registering for University of Iowa academic credit onJune 29th or July 9th. Academic credit from The University of Iowa is available only for those who attend bothdays. Your AT Summer Institute registration fee will be applied toward the cost of tuition if you select the academic credit option for that session. Do not send payment for tuition for academic credit with your AT Summer Institute registration and fee. Undergraduates are graded S (Satisfactory) or F (Fail) only. Graduate students are graded S (Satisfactory) or U (Unsatisfactory), but may request a letter grade. Instructors are not required to honor requests for a letter grade. Grades will be recorded in early August. University credit is granted to participants who properly complete a credit registration form, pay the tuition fee, and demonstrate an understanding of course content at a prescribed level of competency.
