Academic Job Negotiations: The Secret to Winning - not whining - Job Negotiations

Negotiations are a part of any academic job search. Doctoral students are often unprepared for this important stage of the collegiate interview. To help better understand the process and more importantly, to ensure the negotiations process is productive, rather than problematic, the Dean of the College of Education and two faculty members share their insights about negotiable items, the rhetoric of negotiating, and the etiquette of this often ignored component of academic job searches.
