Fall 2004-Present
Provided supervised individual psychotherapy
with university students. Maintained caseload of 6-7 clients-a-week
whose primary presenting concerns included depression, anxiety,
adjustment problems, interpersonal relationship struggles, grief,
body image issues, and existential anxiety. Provided two outreach
programs: Study Skills in College for a campus sorority and
the Myers Briggs Type indicator: Overview and Group Consultation
for an undergraduate course in counseling theory.
Trinity

September-November 2002
Supervised for 80 hours of work with
recreational therapists with impatient and outpatient, child,
adolescent, and adult mental health care. Gained experience
in both the Robert Young Mental Health Center and the Riverside
Substance Abuse Center. Helped to facilitate group counseling
sessions and group recreational therapy.

- Completed intelligence/achievement assessment
course, learning report writing and use of Wechsler Adult Intelligence
Scale (WAIS-III); Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-III);
Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence (WPPSI-III);
Woodcock Johnson Tests of Achievement (WJ-III); and Bayley Scales
of Infant Development (BSID-II).
