Weekend Institute for Gifted Students
WINGS is a series of 3-hour classes held on selected Saturdays on The University
of Iowa campus and in Council Bluffs, Iowa. A class meets for one 3-hour time period.
Students may register for one or more classes across morning or afternoon time slots.
Class content is designed to stimulate the interest and curiosity of bright students
in grades 3-8. There are no formal qualifications required to participate in WINGS.
However, students should be highly motivated to attend, and they should be prepared
for fast-paced, challenging work.
