Course Buyout

Faculty who have excessive research responsibilities may request to buyout one of their courses each semester per academic year.  Course buyout requests must be submitted with written justification to their DEO and Dean for approval. The course buyout amount for each course is $15,000 salary plus benefits or 20% of academic year salary, whichever is greater.  Faculty will be expected to help with arrangements to cover their teaching responsibilities.
