Minutes for the Meeting of October 28, 2005

Attending: Saba Ali, Chris Ogren, Steven McGuire, Devry Mock, Peter Hlebowitsh, John Northup

1. Minutes were approved
2. Peter reported on his meeting with the Dean, which included her position on the Skorton Resolution, updated information on the reallocation program and how our body could proceed to reinvent the Curriculum Committee.
3. Steven McGuire presented his case in support of the Skorton Resolution. The FAC voted to support the Resolution and will forward its support to the Regents.
4. The travel policy data were reported by departmental reps, showing that in T&L the average out of pocket expense was over $800 last year. Other departments will report in our next meeting.
5. We offered ideas to improve our website, which will be conveyed to Moon
