  • Students are notified of the event and recruited by the Student

Committee Chairman for various committee positions at Student Teaching Orientation prior to the start of the semester.

  • A postcard invitation is sent to parents early in the semester to inform them of the date, the registration procedure for students, and how guest tickets are distributed.
  • Students are sent an e-mail reminding them to respond online.
  • After the RSVP deadline, students are mailed their tickets along with an informational card on attire, arrival times, seating arrangements, and program details.
Students and/or parents can e-mail questions about the event to Elizabeth Everson .

Tickets

  • Tickets are free of charge, but due to the limited seating capacity of the venues, ticket availability is limited. Every guest must have a ticket to enter the event. Participating students do not need a ticket.
A group of happy students at the Teacher Education Convocation • Students are guaranteed to receive 4 guest tickets. When responding online, students are encouraged to ask for as many tickets as they would like. Once the RSVP deadline has passed, and the number of participating students has been determined, extra tickets will be disbursed and great effort is made to
accommodate all requests. However, it is highly unlikely any student will be allowed more than 8 tickets.
