"In my teaching role, I see myself as a facilitator of learning.  I facilitate as I demonstrate the practices we study in class and then reflect on them openly.  In this vignette, my students are celebrating inquiry in a "fair atmosphere." Even as a university teacher, I want students to know I'm interested in them and I respect them. As you can see, collaboration with colleagues and students is a crucial component in my teaching philosophy."
