Leadership style

My leadership style has been shaped by a variety of experiences. The characteristics outlined below will give you an idea of how I work with all members of the educational community:

  • High expectations of self and others
  • Effective communicator (writing and speaking)
  • Supportive of others
  • Accountable for actions

Beliefs

All students should have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and the skills necessary for the 21st Century. As an educational leader, I must accept the responsibility for intellectual, emotional and social growth of the student. In order to succeed, parents or guardians will be invited and encouraged to be an important part of the school community.

My beliefs include:

  • Collaborating with teachers to articulate and implement a vision of learning.
  • Creating an environment that promotes personal & professional goals.
  • Ensuring efficient management of programs and budgets.
  • Empowering others to believe in themselves & their community.
