Who We Are

Performance Review for Professional & Scientific (P&S) and Merit Staff

All University staff members should be aware of the expectations of his or her position as well as how they will be evaluated.  To obtain a detailed explanation on University performance review purpose, philosophy, and policy please visit Performance Review for University Staff.

Professional & Scientific Staff Reviews

Beginning FY 12, P & S staff reviews must be completed no later than March 31, 2012 (rather than June 30).

UI HR has developed a new Performance Evaluation template that emphasizes key areas of responsibilities, competencies, career development, and goal setting.  To ensure a consistent process in the College of Education, this new template will be the required template for all P & S staff performance evaluations.

To begin the evaluation process, please review the Guidelines for Performance Evaluation Process.

Upon completion of the review process, both parties sign the review. The review and any attachments, including the staff member’s response (if a separate response is included), become a part of the staff member’s personnel file.  The staff member should also receive a final copy of the review.  Forward completed and signed documentation to College of Education Human Resources, N459 LC.
