Purpose of ePortfolio™

CRSD students use their ePortfolios to promote the integration of theory and knowledge to practice, link required course work to professional standards and improve their technological proficiencies.  The CRSD ePortfolio has also been used as an employment tool during job interviews.  Employers are able to view the student’s work and professional interests, which facilitates communication during the interview process.

The faculty of the CRSD can use ePortfolios as a tool for assessing student’s understanding and application of course concepts.  It is also a valuable resource for communicating how each individual course adheres to the professional standards by which the programs are accredited.
