CHILDREN
IN THE CURRICULUM RESOURCES LAB
As
a member of the University community, you are entitled to
use the Curriculum Lab (CRL). Our purpose is to support the curriculum of
the College of Education by supplying resources for examination,
evaluation, class assignments, and for use in student teaching.
The Curriculum Lab is not a children's library.
We do not have the facilities or staff to provide supervision
for children. The following policies are, therefore, necessary
to ensure the appropriate academic environment and to protect
the safety of all CRL users:
-
Non-college
aged children are to be supervised by an adult at all times.
-
Children
must not disturb other patrons.
-
Children
must not remove materials from shelves or attempt to return
them to the shelves.
-
A
child's safety in the CRL is the responsibility of the supervising
adult.
-
Campus
Security may have to be called if a child is left unattended.
Children are welcome in the Curriculum Lab, but
they are welcome only when accompanied and supervised by an
adult.
