Parking

In Iowa City, public parking is available in parking ramps. For the AT Summer Institute, the closest ramp will be the Capitol St. Ramp located on the corner of Clinton and Burlington. From there it is a short walk down Burlington to the Lindquist Center where the AT Summer Institute will be held.

Registration & Credit

Registration

Please register here before June 1 for the Council Bluffs session and July 15th for the Iowa City session. Registration is to get an idea of how many people will be attending. You are not required to pay until the first morning of the AT Summer Institute that you attend.

Registration Fees

Payment is required on the morning of the first day of your session. We will not accept credit cards. The fee schedule will be as follows:

 

$225 for one UI graduate credit (each two-day session earns one credit)
$125 for certification of completion, no college credit

Academic Credit

One (1) semester hour of Graduate Academic credit from The University of Iowa is available for all TWO DAY classes, including the AT Summer Institute. Credit will be recorded in early August on a University of Iowa transcript as 07C:180 Topical Seminar in CRSD.

Registration for academic credit for each 2 day workshop will take place on the morning of the first session. For the Council Bluffs session, registration will be on Thursday, June 14th beginning at 8:00 a.m. and for the Iowa City session on Monday, July 23rd. Participants will be able to make changes in their credit registrations until 11:00 a.m. on the first day of class. You must have registered for the AT Summer Institute and have received confirmation of your attendance prior to registering for University of Iowa academic credit on June 14th or July 23rd.

Academic credit from The University of Iowa is available only for those who attend both days and complete the written assignment assigned during the session within the week following the session. The registration fee for participants desiring academic credit is $225, payable by check on the morning of the first day of your session. Grades will be recorded in early August. University credit is granted to participants who properly complete a credit registration form, pay the tuition fee, and demonstrate an understanding of course content at a prescribed level of competency via a written assignment. Certificate of Attendance

Certificates of attendance will be provided to everyone in attendance. This certificate has NOT been approved for CEUs, but attendees can use it to apply for CEUs through their respective institutions. To obtain a certificate of attendance, the attendee does not have to complete a written assignment. Certificates will be available following the last session of the final day.
