Web Lessons Three web-based learning lessons were interspersed throughout the training to provide an alternate mode of instruction and a form of practice with some of the ICN content. These web lessons were used by participants, individually or in teams, wherever internet access could be obtained. The purpose of each lesson was to provide participants an opportunity to apply the concepts, relationships, and procedures previously learned. That is, participants were to apply what they learned during the ICN session(s) to a setting that was somewhat similar to their own local situation. The lessons could be used any number of times and could be reused on different occasions during training as needed. In order to have a record of participant’s responses to these lessons, the web lessons and accompanying self tests were administered via this website using WebCT. These web lessons and self tests have been removed from WebCT and are now integrated with this website. Thus, you can access these resources directly (by clicking on the desired link below) – user IDs and passwords are no longer required. After completing a lesson, check your understanding by taking the corresponding self test. |
