Introduction

This lesson was designed to provide practice and support about topics related to the technical adequacy of assessments that were presented in the third ICN session and in the second workshop. This lesson was intended to reinforce some of the ideas presented in those sessions and provide practice in applying those ideas to simulated situations.

While completing this lesson, it might be useful for you to have access to your notes and handouts from the third ICN session (ICN #3 Handout) and the second workshop (2nd ITAP Workshop:Presentation materials) which can be downloaded from the ITAP website library. During this web lesson, take notes that might help you and your team later on as you apply the ideas to your district’s work in documenting evidence about the technical adequacy of your district’s assessments.
