BESTS 2007-2008 Welcome to the Belin-Blank Exceptional Student Talent Search (BESTS) for 2007-2008. BESTS is an opportunity for students to take part in an enjoyable and academically stimulating experience to learn more about their academic strengths. It is also a chance for parents and educators to discover the level of academic challenge appropriate for their students. If you live in Iowa, it is now easier to determine if your child qualifies for the BESTS program at the University of Iowa. The Iowa Tests of Basic Skills has redesigned the score report that is distributed to Iowa parents/guardians. Under this new format, if your child scores at or above the 95th percentile on any section of the test, you will be automatically notified that s/he qualifies for the BESTS program.
