Visual Arts Institute (VAI)
Cost
Every student selected for the Visual Arts Institute (VAI) will receive a $500 scholarship that covers the majority of costs of the Institute. These scholarships are awarded for exceptional talent. The scholarship, in combination with a $300 fee, covers all of the instructional costs, room, board, books, and admission to all regularly scheduled activities. Students and their families will assume responsibility for transportation to and from the Institute and incidental expenses, such as souvenirs and snacks. Scholarships for VAI are made possible through a generous gift from Mary Bucksbaum Scanlan.
Consideration for financial aid, in addition to the Scholarship, will be made after the students are selected. Financial aid forms and other information will be sent to accepted students in May.
