Digital Music Production

Welcome to Digital Music Production! In this course, using GarageBand, we will explore how to compose music in many popular styles, including…

rock-and-roll, hip hop, jazz, classical, and more. Using state-of-the-art, loop-based software, students will learn to layer and arrange instruments, apply audio effects and mix like a DJ, and ultimately create professional CD recordings. No prior musical experience is required or necessary. No matter what your level of musical knowledge or experience, GarageBand will let you unleash your musical creativity. GarageBand puts a complete recording studio, with pro-quality instruments and effects, at your fingertips. Whether you’re a pro or you’ve never played a note, you can make your own music using GarageBand.
