Junior Scholars Academy (JSA)

Cost

The cost of the Academy is $800 per week. This covers the cost of a one-week room and board plan in a university residence hall, tuition, class and lab materials, as well as cultural and recreational fees. Students are responsible for the cost of transportation to and from the Academy, as well as for any personal items or souvenirs. For students flying to the Eastern Iowa Airport, an airport shuttle is available for $50 roundtrip. Students needing to arrive at The University of Iowa one day early (Saturday, June 14 or June 21) may do so for an additional $75. Payment in full is required to register for JSA.
