Iowa Governor’s Institute (IGI)Grades 7-8, June 15-27The Iowa Governor’s Institute for the Gifted and Talented (IGI) is a two-week residential program at The University of Iowa for 72 of Iowa’s gifted students who are currently in grades 7 and 8. The Institute provides exceptionally talented students with an intensive and advanced educational experience designed to enhance their intellectual and social growth as leaders. Each student selected will receive a $1050 Governor’s Scholarship to cover the majority of the cost of the Institute. |
