Advanced Science
(Class size=17)
Through laboratory experiences and hands-on learning, students will have an opportunity to examine advanced science concepts.

Math Problem Solving
(Class size=17)
This course will develop mathematical problem-solving skills and techniques within the context of topics not traditionally found in the standard math curriculum.

Social Sciences
(Class size=17)
This course will allow students an in-depth study of social sciences concepts, issues, and analysis. The course will focus on historical and political perspectives.

Global and Cultural Studies
(Class size=17)
By observing various societies around the world, students will gain a better understanding of other ways of life, as well as deeper insight into their own.

Creative Writing
(Class size=17)
This course will be modeled after The University of Iowa's renowned Writer's Workshop. Students' written work will focus on the life and themes of Iowa.

Invention and Innovation
(Class size=15)
This program will build on inventive talents through a fast-paced curriculum designed to foster mechanical inventiveness.

Visual Arts
(Class size=15)
Students will expand on their talents through studio-based experiences and exposure to multiple genres in the visual arts. Genres may include painting, drawing, sculpture, and multi-media.

Performing Arts
(Class size=15)
An in-depth look into the world of the theatre will build on students performance abilities. Acting, set design, dance/movement, and more will be studied.
