This course will develop mathematical problem-solving skills and techniques within the context of topics not traditionally found in the standard math curriculum.

This course will allow students an in-depth study of social sciences concepts, issues, and analysis. The course will focus on historical and political perspectives.

By observing various societies around the world, students will gain a better understanding of other ways of life, as well as deeper insight into their own. |
Creative Writing

This course will be modeled after The University of Iowa's renowned Writer's Workshop. Students' written work will focus on the life and themes of Iowa.
Invention and Innovation

This program will build on inventive talents through a fast-paced curriculum designed to foster mechanical inventiveness.
Visual Arts
(Class size=15)
Students will expand on their talents through studio-based experiences and exposure to multiple genres in the visual arts. Genres may include painting, drawing, sculpture, and multi-media.
Performing Arts
(Class size=15)
An in-depth look into the world of the theatre will build on students performance abilities. Acting, set design, dance/movement, and more will be studied. |
