Lego Robotics and Energy Resources - 9 am-12 pm

Discover the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and math as you build and program a LEGO® robot that will help your team…

create an energy-efficient town. Using the Mindstorms NXT LEGO® Robot and team work, students will learn about alternative and renewable energy resources as they design, build, and program a robot to solve a variety of energy-related challenges. Students will also conduct an energy audit and develop a creative solution for energy efficiency. This course, adapted from the 2007 FIRST LEGO® League Power Puzzle Challenge, is appropriate for students who love to build with LEGOs and have a passion for problem-solving. This is a door-opening opportunity that could lead to a future career in robotics.
