topics in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Probability and Statistics. An EXPLORE mathematics score of 15 or above is required for registration in this class.

Instructor

Jon Bach received his BA in Math Education from the University of Northern Iowa in 1996. He taught for 4 years at Regina High School in Iowa City. While at Regina, Jon served as the Department Chair and taught courses ranging from Algebra I to AP Calculus and AP Statistics. In 2000, he moved across town to teach at West High School. He currently teaches AP Calculus and Algebra I and serves as a sponsor for Mu Alpha Theta, West High’s Math Club. The summer or 2008 will be Jon’s fifth summer of teaching math at the Belin-Blank Center. In his spare time, Jon enjoys traveling and spending time with his two young daughters.
