As director of development for the UI College of Education, Darryl Borcherding is the UI Foundation staff member responsible for helping the College cultivate and garner private gifts from alumni, friends, corporations, and charitable foundations. He has been with the UI Foundation since July, 2004 and brings solid and extensive fund-raising experience to his work on our behalf. Darryl also works closely with the Foundation's annual giving staff who implement regular telefund, direct-mail, and e-mail campaigns for the College.
Gifts to the College can take many forms and Darryl is expert at working with contributors to help them achieve their charitable intentions in ways that work best for their overall needs and situations.

Honor Clubs
Annual support at every level is crucial to maintaining the quality of our programs. The UI College of Education has established honor clubs to recognize individuals and organizations who provide generous annual support to the College of Education Advancement Fund and other college-wide resources. Dean's Honor Club Reception
Every two years the Dean thanks friends of the College of Education who generously support the College and its programs by inviting them to a special reception. Last year the Dean hosted a reception at the Levitt Center for University Advancement, and provided donors and their guests with tickets to see Aretha Franklin in concert at Hancher Auditorium.
